A Word From Mister C… Without children, the world would be a quiet place!

Stay calm, wash your hands; and wear your soft, summer pyjamas to help Mummy feed the chook girls…

I called out from the kitchen area that I was going to feed the chook girls. I then called out, “If I don’t come back in thirty minutes, please call for the search party!” Mister C looked up from the lounge room and replied, “Okay, Mummy. Why do you need a search party? Is there something wrong with the girls?” I smiled and replied, “If I spend too long staring at our cheeky girls, I think I will need someone to save me. I have other things I will try to do today!” Mister C nodded. I trudged down to the chook area, my right shoulder protected with my back sling for support. I carefully went down the three steps, walked slowly down to the chook shed and opened the metal gate. The girls were all waiting patiently for their yums. I tipped the contents of the white bin into the grey feeding container and turned around to check the red and white water container. I looked up and suddenly saw Mister C dressed in his favourite pyjamas grinning while standing at the gate. “Hi, Mummy. I’m here. I’m your search party to help and save you!” I smiled and giggled, “Oh, thanks my good boy. You are such a good pyjama search party just for me!” Both giggled… 💞

Mister C Dream Diary…

I had this dream last night…

“I was in my bedroom in my dream. Dad called out me to get ready as we had to leave the house. I quickly got dressed and all of us left the house and Dad drove us away. We had to leave our doggie, ‘Rhetti’ at the house, our neighbour agreed to look after him. When we finally came back to the house, it felt like three years had passed. Rhetti was super excited to see us, he ran around each of us and braked his happy bark. I looked over the patio at our backyard and saw a full-on river flowing through the area. I then woke up in my dream and fell back to sleep. I found myself floating down this amazing river on a red plastic lilo. Rhetti had a cute little life-jacket made especially for dogs on, while we all wore red life-jackets. I flowed down the cool river and even saw some green jumping frogs. Mummy and the girls were in a long, white canoe, while Dad was lying on a blue lilo. It was a refreshing dream…” 🌊💦

Exciting news! My Me Poems Book Three has now been published on my Daughter’s (Widy) twentieth birthday, 16th August 2024. I have uploaded a jpeg copy of the book cover on the website, to review. The book is now available on Amazon, Books2Read, Kobo and all of the usual distribution sites, and of course as author copies through me…💓

Our seventh children’s book, ‘A Word From Mister C, A Little Book Of Stories Part Two’ as a part of our ‘Mister C Book Series’ has now been published (15th December 2023), just in time for Christmas! Me and Mister C wanted to thank our family and friends, with our editor and designer for all of the support and help over this past year in 2023. Our new book is available through all online channels…💕

Our second ‘Me Poems’ poetry book was published and was released on 13th May 2023 (my dear Nan’s birthday- always remembered). We celebrated our new book at our book event and ‘Storytime’ at the Goulburn Library on 25th May 2023…

Our first poetry book, ‘Me Poems: A Passionate Glimpse Of Life Through Poetry: Book One’, is published. We launched this new book at the fabulous Comic Con event in Goulburn on Saturday 18th March 2023. The book was released on 21st March 2023, to coincide with ‘World Poetry Day’ and my fourteenth wedding anniversary with Husband…

Both books are available through all channels. We have signed author copies as well. Something new for poetry lovers (not a children’s book this time). You can review the cover of our new book here on our website- it’s a little exciting!… 📚
